Guys, first I want to apologize if my blog site has few or rather incomplete details. This is my first time to create a blog so just spare me your understanding! :)
I can still remember the first time I applied for a call center job. I was 17 that time, well turning 18 in 2 mos., so technically, I'm of legal age. I was still in college that time, 3rd year. Also, I have a pretty fair complexion, nice eyes, yada yada yada.. LOL! Well, I'll skip my own personal information, I know you guys are not interested in that:)
First center that I applied for and my first application was eTelecare Global Solutions in Alabang, known now as Stream Global. I arrived there exactly 7:55 AM, passed my resume and waited for my turn. During the first sets of interview, everything was piece of cake for me, however, the process gets tougher and tougher as you move along. Lucky for me, I reached the final step "A MOCK CALL". The time that day when I checked my watch was 10:00 PM!!
Waaaah! I told my self silently. I never had anything like this in my whole life! What am I suppose to do? what am I suppose to say? Those are the few questions I have in mind, plus considering the fact that I'm already exhausted, so exhausted! Imagine, 14 hours of stay plus series of interviews! Well, I guess all of those worth the sacrifices.
Until finally, all interviews are done, all exams answered! Guess what!? Of course I passed! Hahahaha! Yehey!!
So that was my first job! I handled "Sales" account and started to earn on my own!
So guys, I want you to realize that a call center job is not an easy one as most people say it is. Don't think of it as a no brainer work because it isn't!
Have a good day to all of you readers! See yah in my next post!
